Chafic Nehme
Chafic works as a legal advisor and litigator and represents international and local entities in Qatar and abroad in various high-profile domestic and international civil and commercial cases and cross-border legal transactions, and he is counsel to management teams and Board of Directors on corporate, contractual, banking and financial and other significant regulatory, corporate, commercial and transactional affairs.
He has represented and advised clients on a number of greenfield investments and telecommunications acquisitions (GSM licenses) across MEA (the Middle East and Africa) markets, including Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Lebanon, Yemen, Ghana, Uganda, Comoros Islands, and Malawi.
Chafic advises on legal matters for various oil import, export, and distribution companies in Oil and Gas he has advised international oil companies, sponsors and lenders, and government entities on various matters including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, financing, sale, and supply arrangements, storage, trading, transportation, and LNG. He has also been involved in many major energy projects internationally.
Chafic is often cited as a very articulate, knowledgeable, and well-informed lawyer.
